Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-14-draft-1 · Effective October 14, 2026 · Draft · COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS PARTNER, LLC
1. About these Terms
GovCompanion (CSP) is operated by COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS PARTNER, LLC ("CSP", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use govern the public GovCompanion website and the GovCompanion application. You must accept the current version before you use the application. When we publish a new version, you are asked to accept it at your next sign-in.
2. Who may use GovCompanion
The application is for CSP staff and for users of a Client Partner organization who were invited by CSP or by their organization's Client Partner Manager. Your access is limited to the role and organization you were invited for. Your organization is responsible for the people it invites and for removing access when someone no longer needs it.
3. Accounts and sign-in codes
Your account is personal. Do not share your account or the sign-in codes we email to you, and do not let anyone else use a session you started. Keep your email address current, because sign-in codes and important notices are sent there. Tell us promptly at info@govcompanion.com if you suspect someone else has used your account.
4. Acceptable use
GovCompanion is a system of record. Enter information that is accurate and that you are permitted to share, and keep it up to date in the course of your work.
Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-copy the application; do not export or download information except through the features the application provides for your role; do not try to access another organization's information or a feature your role does not include; do not test, probe or bypass security or permissions; do not interfere with the service or other users; and do not use GovCompanion for any unlawful purpose.
5. Confidentiality
Information you see in GovCompanion about CSP, its Client Partners and the communities they serve — including pipeline, pricing, contract, contact, assessment and activity information — is confidential. Use it only for the purpose for which you were given access, share it only with people who are authorized to see it, and do not keep copies after your access ends except as your organization's agreement with CSP allows.
6. Client Partner Confidentiality and Non-Competition Agreement
This section applies to users of a Client Partner organization.
6.1 Your organization has, or will be asked to sign, a Mutual Confidentiality and Non-Competition Agreement with CSP (the "Confidentiality Agreement"). Until the executed agreement is available in GovCompanion, it is provided to your organization separately; ask your organization's Client Partner Manager for a copy.
6.2 The Confidentiality Agreement is in effect in addition to these Terms of Use. These Terms do not replace, narrow or amend it. If these Terms and the Confidentiality Agreement conflict, the provision that more fully protects CSP's Confidential Information and legitimate business interests controls.
6.3 By using GovCompanion you confirm you have read the Confidentiality Agreement and agree that Articles 4 to 7, 9 and 12 apply to you personally, including the non-solicitation and non-circumvention restrictions in Article 9 for your organization's Covered Programs.
6.4 In summary, for convenience only (the Confidentiality Agreement controls): keep CSP's information confidential and use it only to represent CSP; do not compete in your organization's Covered Programs in its Restricted Territory while the agreement is in effect and for [12 months] after it ends; do not go around CSP to reach communities you met through CSP; and report any security incident within [24] hours.
6.5 If your organization's Confidentiality Agreement has not been executed, or has ended, CSP may limit your access until it is in effect. Restrictions that survive its end continue to apply.
6.6 Personal information is handled under the GovCompanion Privacy Policy.
7. Website requests
The public forms let you request a demo, ask about community-program access or record an optional SMS choice. Submitting a request does not by itself establish a partnership, community assignment or signed service contract.
8. SMS messaging
The GovCompanion (CSP) SMS program is governed by the SMS Terms, which are part of these Terms by reference. SMS enrollment is optional and separate from email, calls and these Terms: accepting these Terms does not enroll you in SMS messages.
9. Feedback and BETA features
Some features are marked BETA. They may change, be incomplete or be withdrawn, and should be checked before you rely on them. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve GovCompanion without obligation to you.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep GovCompanion available but do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance, outages and changes to features can occur. We may change these Terms. A changed version is published with a new version number and effective date, and you will be asked to accept it at your next sign-in.
11. Suspension and termination of access
CSP or your organization may suspend or end your access at any time, including when your role changes, your organization's agreement with CSP ends, or these Terms are not followed. Sections 5 and 6 continue to apply after your access ends.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability (draft)
GovCompanion and the information in it, including estimates, scores, assessments and data compiled from public sources, are provided "as is" and "as available" to support your work, not as legal, financial or professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, CSP disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of GovCompanion. Any agreement your organization has signed with CSP controls over this section.
13. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute relating to them is to be brought in the state or federal courts serving Brevard County, Florida.
